F-Off JB

I won't be bullied or threatened by someone with a messianic complex about his world. He may become a God and inherit a planet in the next life (according to his religion) but he's still a mere mortal in this one.

  1. You have to read this post. And then this one.
  2. Robert Phillips and I met on Sunday night while he was in Dublin and he is a completely open and delightful person. All my email conversations with him are exactly the same.
  3.  I am not scared and in awe of JBs mightly power that I would cower before the threat of not receiving scraps from his table when he decides to acknowledge me. In fact, it just had the opposite effect.

Robert and I discussed on Sunday that he needed to get James to directly accuse him of doing something wrong instead of the insinuation and sniping that James had done up to this point.  Well, he has it now. I'm sure that later on Robert will be posting the exact quotes from the emails that JB sent him that gave him permission to do what he did (he showed them to me on Sunday and they're quite explicit) and I'll link to them when they go up.

I won't have anything to do with a rude, obnoxious, back-stabbing, condescending, delusional, pompous, unethical, coward. James, you can take your threats and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

Quite an interesting title you have for this post Steven. :)

I will simply confirm meeting Robert and feeling the same way as you about him. I also saw the emails you were referring to.

Steven Lohrenz @ 10:24 am

I've been thinking all this week that I need to spruce up my headlines. Make them more interesting, you know. I think I may have done it on this one.

Fred Black @ 4:17 pm

Steve;
I'm a little slow sometimes… what exactly are you trying to say… (grin). I feel the same way about Robert.

It seems James Brausch is now showing his true colours. Robert certainly needn't stand for such a undeserved public beating. I do hope people don't simply assume there is any truth to Brausch's attack. "Good riddance" he says to those who would question him. Indeed, good riddance yourself James Brausch.

I've not met Robert personally, but have been in email contact several times in the past month. His products, services, customer support, and communication are outstanding.

The same can be said of Fred Black, Terry Dean and many others I've had the privilege of "meeting" online.

As for James… I have direct experience with him as well, some good, some bad. I'm not interested in reliving the past. What I will say is that there is never *just one* way to do something, and I'd say that you should run from anyone who says there is.

Think for yourself. Don't Drink the Cool-Aid!

I agree, Steven. I appreciate your post. As a direct result of the behavior you describe, I've canceled every subscription I had with JB.

I have to say that I have learned so much about marketing in the last 2 months! Want to know how I did it?

I had purchased Brausch's business in a box and had been reading his blog, thinking more and more that there was something seriously wrong with this guy…

Then when Brausch started his attack on Phillips I didn't know what it was all about but I was horrified…

So I Googled: James Brausch jerk

That was the key! That search led me to this amazing group of marketers: Robert Phillips, Fred Black, Ed Rivis, Terry Dean, Steven Lorenz, etc Who knew there were all these really talented, decent, honest people willing to share all these great techniques?

I have subscribed to their blogs and bought their products and I am making so much progress it makes my head spin.

So, here's my new technique for discovering great stuff on the internet: Find a jerk and follow the people who call him out! It's worked for me! lol

I guess I should take a number, too.

I'm a customer of his — rather a former customer.

I ordered his James Brausch Newsletter and plunked down $300 for it. Three months later I have yet to see anything in the mail, so I email him at his paypal address to see if he could fix the problem. After several weeks of sending emails and not getting a response, I thought I'd post comments on his blog politely asking him to get in touch with me regarding his newsletter that I was not getting. Of course, my comments were promptly deleted but no emails.

I even had PayPal contact him on my behalf asking him to address this issue, and nope, he didn't respond.

So, in short, I am out $300 and I have learned yet another lesson in internet fraud. Sigh.

I guess my only solace here is that I'm not the only one to be screwed over by this guy.

To be honest, i couldn't read both of the posts in entirety because it's too much to read..lol. And Raymond, $300 is alot to spend these days to learn about internet business. These days, there are so many great resources about internet businesses that is 100 percent free. There are even Youtube videos about how to start and run a successful business.
