Find Where You Rank Quickly

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or sign up for my blog announcement list over on the right. Thanks for visiting!

I was reading Richard Lee's blog post about his ascension in the rankings for the term 'internet business'. He described his process for determining where he is. Search and do a manual find. Click on next and find again. There is a better and easier way.

I had been using a site called Niche Bot Classic, but it requires a Google Web API key. Which isn't available anymore. I happened to have one because I was playing around with those API's back in the day.

So I went searching… for you. And I found this tool that doesn't need a Google Web API key - though it can use it if you have one. It's free and it's called, aptly enough, Free Monitor For Google. It will keep track of all of your projects/sites and the keywords that you are interested in for each one of them. It has little green, gray and red arrows so you can quickly visually see where your site is ranking for each keyword.

I think this might save you some time and manual labor in your internet business.

Excellent tip again Steven. I've downloaded it to try out.

I can see a place for a Complete SLToolkit post, you have so many of these tips.
